Tanzanite is found in exactly one place on earth, a few square kilometres at the foot of Kilimanjaro, and the supply is finite. Sultana is built around a stone of unusual depth, the blue tilting toward violet in low light. The shoulders are carved emerald, the halo doubled, the band tapered so the stone sits like a throne.
